Setna iO has acquired a CF6-80E1A4B engine, which will be dismantled to supply the aftermarket with serviceable material.
The acquisition expands SETNA’s offering of core engine material and adds life-limited parts to its inventory, supporting both cargo and passenger operators on the CF6 platform.
“SETNA’s standing in aftermarket aviation is largely tied to our extensive breadth of components on the shelf, ready to go. This asset acquisition helps us live up to that reputation as we continue to expand our offering of core engine material,” said Andrew Storch, Senior Vice President of Asset Management at SETNA.
“SETNA firmly believes in the longevity of the CF6 family for both cargo and passenger operations, and we are particularly excited about the life-limited material that this asset brings.”
