Setna iO has acquired a first-run CFM56-5B4/3 engine, previously operated by Air Cairo.
With 11,000 cycles remaining on the Fan & Booster and Bearing Support modules and 6,000 cycles remaining on the Low-Pressure Turbine module, the engine offers significant remaining life. It also contains rare, high-value core hardware that is becoming increasingly difficult to source in today’s market.
“We have elected to keep the Fan & Booster, Bearing Support, and Low Pressure Turbine modules assembled to give our customers more affordable and quicker shop visit solutions,” said Abhijeet Dey, Senior Vice President of Asset Management.
“Core hardware like this is hard to find, and it strengthens our ability to support operators across the global CFM56 fleet. We continue to invest in strategically selected assets that create measurable value for our airline and MRO partners worldwide.”
