Setna iO Expands B737-800 Airframe Disassembly Pipeline with Ex. Air Europa Acquisition
Setna iO has expanded its narrowbody pipeline of airframes slated for teardown with the purchase of a Boeing 737 – 800 previously operating with Air Europa. The aircraft will undergo teardown, with recovered components allocated to be repaired across SETNA’s global MRO channels to meet operator requirements. Through its coordinated MRO infrastructure, the company will manage repair and overhaul activity in-house to optimize asset performance and accelerate availability to airline customers globally.
“We are excited to continue to invest in the Boeing 737 – 800 airframe product line. SETNA will directly supply more than 150 airlines globally with this material. APU parts will be overhauled at Setnix, Arizona, landing gear will be overhauled at Landing Gear Technologies, nacelles and accessories at Zulu Global, and avionics and wheels/brakes at Setnix, UK,” said David Chaimovitz, Founder and CEO of SETNA.
