Setna iO has acquired a B777-200ER airframe, its second B777-200ER purchase in the past year.
High-demand parts from the aircraft will provide valuable feedstock for SETNA’s piece-part repair and sales strategy. Many of these components can be repaired through SETNA’s in-house MRO network, including Setnix, SETNA Parts Lab, Landing Gear Technologies, J&C Aero, and Zulu Global, and then delivered to customers worldwide through Setna iO’s global sales team.
“This B777-200ER acquisition is an exciting addition to our diversified portfolio of airframes and engines. It reflects a calculated play to be asset agnostic in otherwise crowded markets and allows us to support a different portion of our customer base of airlines, lessors, MROs, and more,” said Vinnie Beltrano, Partner and Chief Operating Officer.
“SETNA is uniquely positioned to repair a large portion of these components in house while delivering parts cost-efficiently and on time to customers around the world. This intentional vertical integration strengthens our control over the supply chain, shortens turnaround times, improves material availability, and allows us to price as competitively as possible.”
