Setna iO has completed the purchase of two (2) CFM56-5B4/3 engines as part of its ongoing effort to support demand for high-quality used serviceable materials.
Both engines are first-run, tech insertion assets with upgraded internal and external hardware. They will be disassembled, with the fan/booster and LPT modules kept assembled for resale to airline and lessor customers.
The teardown will be carried out by Willis Engine Repair Centre in Bridgend, UK.
