Setna iO has announced the acquisition of an Airbus A330-200 powered by two CF6-80E1A4B engines, previously operated by Qatar Airways. The aircraft will be disassembled for piece parts to support the company’s global customer base, with teardown operations taking place at the ecube facility in Castellon, Spain. As part of Setna iO’s integrated aftermarket strategy, components will be routed through its owned network of MROs — Setnix, Zulu Global, and LGT — to maximize value, enhance turnaround times, and ensure high-quality serviceable material is delivered to customers worldwide.

We are extremely excited to announce the acquisition of a CF6-80E powered A330 aircraft,” said Hunter Edens, Chief Commercial Officer of Setna iO. We see a significant demand in the aftermarket for the parts associated with these two platforms as a result of the continued global supply chain constraint. We take great pride in our ability to support our customers with in stock, ready to go used serviceable materials and will invest in the repairs of these components on the front end as a means to alleviate bottlenecks within the industry.”
