We are pleased to announce that Setna iO has acquired another Boeing 737 – 800 airframe for teardown, with disassembly to take place at ecube’s facility in Castellón, Spain.
The acquisition supports our ongoing efforts to expand available material and maintain a strong supply of certified components for airline and MRO customers.
Tom Boulcott, Partner & Chief Strategy Officer at SETNA, commented:
“We are proud to bring another Boeing 737 – 800 airframe into teardown, working closely with our internal MRO network to maximise value and efficiency whilst continuing to build depth in available material, ensuring certified stock is on the shelf and ready to support our airline customers.
The Boeing 737 – 800 remains one of the most widely operated aircraft globally and one of the most successful narrowbody aircraft ever produced, continuing to drive strong demand for aftermarket support.
The team is excited to acquire another airframe in Spain and continues to acquire and tear down assets globally, supported by our international footprint of over 700,000 sq ft of operating space, strategically located hubs and a growing integrated MRO network.”
This latest teardown reflects ongoing demand for 737 – 800 material and SETNA’s continued activity in acquiring and processing assets across its global network.
